Our focus is on supporting diverse, local causes. Virtually all dollars received go directly to charities, with only a small percentage used to pay transaction costs. No management fees are taken by LARK. Our goal is to help those in need, whether the issue is addiction, poverty, community-building, animal welfare, education, or tragedies such as accidents or fires.

Though cash/credit donations are gratefully accepted, our major focus is on receiving shares in eligible companies that you, the donor, have profited from. Donating in shares (over $1.00 CDN) allows contributors to pay no capital gains on the donation while others benefit from the generosity.

Unlike other charitable organizations where donated shares are sold immediately, LARK may choose to remain invested in the shares of securities donated, based on individual circumstances.
